Post Hurricane Irma Update:
Signs are posted at each trail head noting that the South Florida Water Management District is working to clear trails and that some areas may take several months to return to their pre-storm status.
Update as of 10/20/2017:
CREW Marsh Trails: All of the trails are cleared of large debris. Some areas are wet and muddy which is normal this time of year. One service road that some walkers use a cut-through (just past the boardwalk) is closed and signs are posted.
Cypress Dome Trails: Most of the trails are cleared of large debris. Somea reas are wet and muddy with areas of standing water near the smaller marshes. The Wild Coffee Trail is closed at this time due to extensive damage and high water.
Bird Rookery Swamp: The trail is accessible to the first large pond past the boardwalk, which now has a large washout with a deep-water crossing. The entire loop is not passable as there are numerous large trees down on the tram along with several new washouts.
