Today, the CREW Trust’s day-to-day operations and programs are managed by two people – the Executive Director and the Environmental Education Specialist.

Brenda Brooks has served as the Executive Director for the CREW Trust since 2008, after coming on board as the environmental education specialist in 2005. Her vision and energy have helped CREW move forward to purchase additional lands in and around the watershed, to expand the education and outreach programs, to improve and expand the trail systems, and to raise awareness of water issues for southwest Florida. Brenda has a M.S. in Environmental Science from FGCU and a B.S. degree in Environmental Science & Geography from Stetson University. Brenda can be reached at brenda_crew@earthlink.net.
Deb Hanson is CREW’s Environmental Education Specialist. She has been involved with CREW since 1997 as a hiker, volunteer, biologist, social media manager, and environmental educator. Deb’s passion for CREW is evident in every hike led, every lesson taught, every presentation given. But it doesn’t stop there. She keeps CREW in the public eye 24 hours a day on Facebook and Twitter! Deb has a M. A. in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida, and a B.S. in Wildlife Biology & Zoology from N. C. State University. Contact Deb at eecrew@earthlink.net .
