CREW Trust Staff

Brenda Brooks has served as the Executive Director for the CREW Land & Water Trust since 2008 after coming on board as the environmental education specialist in 2005. Her vision and energy helped move the CREW Trust forward through the purchase of additional lands in and around the watershed, expanding education and outreach programs, improving and expanding the trail systems and raising awareness of water issues in Southwest Florida. Brenda has a M.S. in Environmental Science from Florida Gulf Coast University and a B.S. degree in Environmental Science & Geography from Stetson University. Contact Brenda at

Savannah Kushner joined the CREW Trust staff in August 2018. She is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and completed an internship with the CREW Trust in summer 2017. Savannah also completed an internship with Lee County Mosquito Control’s education program and worked with kindergarden students. Stephanie Bravo joined the CREW Trust staff in fall 2018 as an environmental educator, leading field trips for students and assisting with other CREW Trust programs. Anne Reed is the Communication Strategist for CREW Land & Water Trust. Prior to joining the staff in 2016, Anne was a staff reporter for The News-Press in Fort Myers and volunteered for the CREW Trust.
