can i ride my bicycle on the 4/11/2021 purple trail opening, or is that for hiking only?

Is there a map for the new purple extension?
I tried riding the trail during “opening day” on my fat tire bike. Way too much deep sand for me! I was out of “gas” after about a mile and a half and had to turn around. Excellent Olympic bicycle training route. LOL
