Brenda Thomas, CREW Trust member, friend and Trustee, does something unique each month – she donates to the CREW Trust. Thomas uses our recurring donations option as a way to support the CREW Trust and keep her membership current.
“Giving monthly allows me to give more,” she explained. “It is easier to work 12 small, bite-sized contributions into my monthly budget than it is to work one large contribution into my budget during any given month.”
What seems like a small amount in her budget adds up and, in a small non-profit, those dollars have a big impact.
“As growth and development explodes again in our community, protecting intact green space will become more and more important for our society, economy and our environment,” Thomas explained. “CREW continues to be a leader in those efforts and I will continue to support that in any way I can. My monthly contribution is a small step toward offering that support.”

I attended the Caloosa Saddle Club meeting this evening and I was very impressed with Brenda’s talk and her knowledge regarding CREW. I have enjoyed the equestrian trails several times this past year, and I look forward to many more wonderful rides on the beautiful trails.
I hope that my husband and I can attend the wine and cheese tasting under the full moon later this month.
I look forward to being a friend of CREW for many years!

This membership is a serious bargain! I have joined about a dozen events at CREW and have never been disappointed. Seriously, these guys including all the fabulous volunteers, know their ‘stuff’. I have seen parts of SW Florida that I never knew were here and increased my knowledge about birds, butterflies and flowers ten fold. They also host great complimentary member events.
I am sending my renewal membership by check today. I have been enjoying the hikes a crew marsh for way over ten years and just discovered the crew rookery hike this year. What a joy. Could you email me when the scarlet hibiscus booms at the rookery. For the past three years I have not been able to hike due to a leg problem, but that has cleared up and I have enjoyed hiking both places this spring with friends. Keep up the good work. Wini
You have a remarkable opportunity to share what a special place South Florida offers there at the 3 CREW location trails! Thank you for having such reliable and accessible trails that provide multitude of habitats for one to experience low-land, up-land, dry-land and wet-land opportunities. So much wildlife that can be seen through these corridors and birding galore! Hats off to the TEAM and to all the volunteers that make it possible!

I went on a guided walk yesterday (12/6/2017) with Dr. David as the lead and because I enjoyed this walk so much and realized the importance of CREW I wanted to join with a family membership.

The CREW Trust really leverages its donations. Its partnerships with state and local agencies more robust than any other nonprofit organization I have ever been associated with. Great job CREW Trust!
We went on a guided walk on Jan. 23rd at the Bird Rookery Swamp Trail. Our guide was fantastic. We learned all kinds of things about the plants and animals in the area. Great to have programs like this.
Do the levels of donations include different benefits ?
Not currently, however we are working on defining them.
