Bird Rookery Swamp Boardwalk Construction is starting August 10, 2020. The gates will be locked at sunset the evening of August 9th. Bird Rookery Swamp trail will be closed through the end of August. We will update this page with the opening date as soon as we know.

CREW Flint Pen Strand, CREW Cypress Dome Trail, and CREW Marsh Trails are all open to the public from sunrise to sunset.

Please continue to practice social distancing while visiting our CREW trails.

The CREW Trust has worked diligently with the South Florida Water Management District and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to ensure public access and recreation opportunities on these public lands we call CREW.

There are exceptional recreational opportunities for people of all ages on over 36 miles of hiking trails, with more planned in the future. The CREW project now has four trail systems open to the public, two located off of Corkscrew Road (County Road 850), one off of Bonita Beach Road and one located off of Immokalee Road (see map above).
