Your contributions have already helped to get the ball rolling on our newest programs developing at the Flint Pen Strand Trails. Environmental education for all ages is always a priority for the CREW Trust and I think you’ll agree that together we’ve made a huge impact in our community, one that continues to grow each year with your help.
Thank you for supporting environmental education! We’re happy to have seen so many friendly faces at our CREW Concert this year. We really cherish our annual “friend-raiser” because it’s such a great place to get to talk with you, our sponsors. We sincerely hope you all had a fabulous time and hope to see you on our trails soon!
Brenda Brooks, executive director of CREW Land & Water Trust, with Kim Ruiz, CREW Trust Board of Trustees member and presenting sponsor of the 2018 CREW Concert.
Our concert is our biggest fundraiser each year and this year we hope is no exception. Proceeds help fund the CREW Trust’s environmental education programs but this year we’re changing things up a bit and all proceeds will go towards the Dr. David R. Cooper Education Fund.
Most of our sponsors have been supporting this event for years and we couldn’t have such a successful event without their support.
Sponsors enjoy special perks, including tickets to the VIP Cafe at the concert. This special area, exclusively for VIP ticket holders and their guests, offers table seating close to the stage at Riverside Park and a fully catered meal from Niko’s Kitchen.
For most of our sponsors, though, sponsoring this event is about so much more than great food and the atmosphere of the VIP Cafe.
“I originally sponsored the CREW concert to give back to the place where I first learned Southwest Florida wildflowers,” explained Kim Ruiz, CREW Trust member, Trustee, volunteer and member of the concert committee. In 2018, Kim’s company, EcoPlanz Inc, was the presenting sponsor for the CREW Concert. “I continue sponsoring to support the expanding educational programs so people of all ages can be immersed in the wonders of water, land, and wildlife.”
Brian Farrar, Vice-Chairman of the CREW Trust Board of Trustees, President of BCF Management Group, CREW Trust member and concert committee member, has also been a sponsor for many years. “Being a CREW Concert sponsor has afforded my wife and I the opportunity to give back to our Southwest Florida community in what we believe is one of the most important ways: educating our future leaders on the importance of water resources and environmental preservation. If we don’t explain this need and delicate balance, our wonderful way of life will be gone before we know it.”
If you are looking for a way to support the concert and help us build the Dr. David R. Cooper Education Fund, please consider becoming a concert sponsor and enjoy the event as a VIP! Download a 2019 CREW Concert Sponsor Flyer or email email@example.com for more information on becoming a sponsor.
We’re counting down to our biggest night of the year – the 2018 CREW Concert & Silent Eco-Auction on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 5-9 p.m. at Riverside Park in Bonita Springs.
A large part of what makes our biggest fundraiser of the year so successful is our sponsors. Many of them sponsor the concert each year and we can’t thank them enough.
The presenting sponsor for the 2018 CREW Concert & Silent Eco- Auction is Kim Ruiz, owner of EcoPlanz, Inc.
This is the fifth year Kim has supported the CREW Trust through a concert sponsorship and becoming a major sponsor has always been her goal. “I started out in 2013 with a small donation,” Kim explained. “Now EcoPlanz is established well-enough for me to increase my sponsorship this year.”
Kim recently joined the CREW Trust Board of Trustees, extending her connection to the CREW Trust. “From the time I learned about the CREW Trust, I knew I wanted to support the efforts to educate people and encourage people to enjoy the splendors of the trail systems,” she said. “I spend time on the CREW Trails to rejuvenate my spirit. Since this area gives me so much joy, I like to give back and spread the word to ‘Connect with CREW.'”
The 2018 CREW Concert & Silent Eco-Auction is Saturday, Feb. 24, 5-9 p.m. at Riverside Park in Bonita Springs. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the gate; children 12 and under are free. To purchase tickets in advance, visit eventbrite.com.
Proceeds benefit the CREW Land & Water Trust in its mission to preserve and protect the natural communities and water resources in and around the Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed. Additional hole sponsors are needed. Hole sponsors, players, and foursomes can find registration information here.
This tournament is named in honor of Stanley Hole, who was a founding board member of the CREW Trust and instrumental in developing partnerships in the early days of CREW. Stanley was also an avid golfer.
